Live at the Blue Room Theatre ‘Billy and the Kid’
Two weekends only, an original late night production, locally written and produced.
Mount up with one of America’s most beloved folk heroes and mass-murderers in this fantasmagorical romp through old New Mexico: a land ruled by unrelenting blue skies and savage outlaws. In one lonesome night on the range the lines between the myth and the mundane disappear as a toad becomes a boy, a boy becomes a man and a man becomes a legend.
Written and produced for the stage by local craftsmen Benjamin Allen and Maxon Higbee and featuring the talents of Gorgeous Armada’s Anthony DiPasqua, Vext Intent’s Shawn Wilson, NaySayer’s Jeremy Votava, Ol’ Yeller’s Zeda Samuel and Paul of the Mangrove Bottle Shop, the show promises to provide the audience with an experience unlike anything before.
The show runs two weekends only; Friday and Saturday February 8th and 9th, 15th and 16th. Showtime is 10:30 nightly with the doors opening at 10:00.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door and can be purchased at the box office, at the Blue Room website or at the Mangrove Bottle Shop.
As advertised, each ticket holder will be entitled to free beans but remember to bring your own plate and spoon!
